This year’s Sound Wave will feature the same world-class DJ lineup expected by fans, but with a new twist. The festival will be moving to a new venue, unlike in the past, this rendition of Sound Wave will not be at a water park, although, water amenities will continue to be a major part of the event.
Sound Wave music festival debuted in April 2011, featuring live art exhibits, three stages and state-of-the-art event production all within the setting of a functioning water park. Sound Wave was the first of its kind in Arizona hosting over 20 international, national and local DJ’s including Diplo, Boys Noize, Cut Chemist, Planet of the Drums, Kraddy and Porter Robinson. The second installment was in October 2011 and featured headliners Kaskade, Dirty South, Z-Trip, Manufactured Superstars and Trolley Snatcha, just to name a few.
