Get ready EDM fans because there’s a new arrival that is taking over the scene, and her name is Audrey Napoleon. Fresh out of Los Angeles, Napoleon is a DJ that is quickly making her name known.
You may, or may not have heard of her, but just a quick listen to her music will get you hooked.
It’s only been two years since she released her first single, “Foxy Boxy,” and she has already grown as an artist. She has even performed with big names such as Deadmau5, Wolfgang Gartner, Ritchie Hawtin, and more. Currently, she is touring for the Identity Festival across the country. She has been captivating the crowd in every city with her incredible performance.
Less than a week ago, Napoleon released her debut EP, Ornamental Egos. Each track on this album is different from anything you’ve heard before.
The EP kicks off with her latest single, “Poison,” featuring the beautiful vocals of Betty Trouble. This track is surely to become a huge hit at every club with its fun beat. The next track, “Only You,” consists of techno elements, and a drum-break that will make your heart skip a beat. It has that ‘feel good’ vibe to it. “Carlos Martinez” is my personal favorite. This is one that will definitely get stuck in your head, but you won’t mind it. This is the kind of song that will give you the energy to dance all night. “My Sunrise,” the next track on the album, was featured in Heineken’s commercial for their international campaign, Sunrise Belongs to Moderate Drinkers. The EP concludes with “Bitchy Queen,” another one of my favorites that takes me away to that happy place. The tracks on this album are all different from each other, but they flow very well. It has a different kind of tone from what I’m used to, and I love it. If you have good taste in music and like to dance freely, I recommend that you purchase this incredible album.
