LA-based producer and clothing designer [esq]ape AKA Zabastian Amadeuz has released the perfect holiday song just in time for Christmas with his homage to Wham!’s 1984 hit classic. Z’s former indie project, entitled Z and She was produced by renowned beat music producer Sango best known for his work with Soulection. “Last Christmas | evolved” is the perfect “escape” from your typical holiday carol that adds a fresh perspective and a modern conscious message.

After a successful 2017 including a notable performance at Electric Daisy Carnival, [esq]ape ends the year on a high note by releasing his own chillwave rendition of one of the most renowned holiday songs of all-time. For “Last Christmas | evolved” [esq]ape adds a new verse, bass, jazz overtones, and a minimalistic beat in order to make the track uniquely his own.
