EDM Festival will launch in Cuba in 2016.

A Kickstarter campaign is currently ongoing to fund the 3 day event, taking place in Santiago de Cuba, on  May 2016.

With the end of the US embargo near and the normalization of relations with Cuba, We’re about to witness a Renaissance on the Cuban music scene. Manana festival will take place from May 4th through 6th in Santiago de Cuba, the second most important city and historic Cultural capital of the island.

The non-profit festival key aim is to “preserve and develop both Afro-Cuban and electronic music” in Cuba. MANANA 2016 will include a hand picked line-up of Cuban and international talent. Some names that have already agreed to play if this Kickstarter campaign is a success.

  • Dubstep pioneer, Mala
  • Puerto Rican electronic rumba act, Grupo ÌFÉ
  • Tropical DJ’s, Sofrito
  • “Godfather” of Cuban drumming, Galis
  • Santiago rumba masters, Obba Tuke
  • The legendary Compañía Ballet Folclórico de Oriente
