Sidney Samson takes top honors in Holland receiving his countries most prestigious music award, a Buma Award, for his song ‘Policeman’ with wife Eva Simons. The pair wrote the song last year and it went to #1 in several countries, including The Netherlands. This is the first Buma Award for Sidney, who had this to say about his big win;
“It’s very special to be recognized by Buma and my country for the work I do in music. We don’t make music to get awards, but it’s a great feeling to know people like it!” –Sidney Samson
Sidney also had a second reason to celebrate when his track ‘Bang It To The Curb‘ with Far East Movement, was licensed for the Ben Stiller comedy, Zoolander 2. The film is playing now in wide release.
Sidney continues to tour the world at a relentless pace and will return to the US this March for a series of dates starting with a pre-party event on March 10 at The Clevelander. He will also resume his Las Vegas residency at Drais this April.
