Actress tells Ellen DeGeneres how she attended a fetish party at the famed club Berghain
Actress Claire Danes recently appeared on Ellen DeGeneres’ where she revealed that she’s a big techno fan.
The Homeland star, who rose to fame in the 1990s with cult TV show My So-Called Life, told Ellen that she “had a real aversion to” techno music at first but that the city of Berlin – where the fifth season of Homeland will be set – altered her opinion.
“I thought that heavy metal and techno were the two genres of music that I just had no tolerance for, right?” Danes said. “You’ll go to Berlin, you might change your mind. You get sucked in.”
Of the city’s famed Berghain night club, she continued: “It’s amazing; it’s the best place on Earth. I was so scared when I first went in. Really, I had acute anxiety because I didn’t know what to expect. But it’s a blast and a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.”
Danes also revealed that she once attended a fetish party at the club.
