Leading British house and techno producer will perform at mega event in Tel Aviv next week celebrating Jewish state’s 67th birthday.
Born in Barbados, Carl Cox made his name on the UK rave scene in the 1980′s before exploding in popularity throughout the 1990′s, reaching number 1 in the DJ Mag top 100 poll two years in a row in 1996 and 1997. These days Cox keeps himself busy running his record labels and touring worldwide, including his own stage, Carl Cox and Friends, at many of the major music festivals.
Israel’s post-firework Independence Day afternoon is usually dedicated to different barbecue celebrations on every available piece of grass. This year, the grilled kebabs will be challenged by a mega party led by British DJ Carl Cox, which will be held at the Trade Fairs and Convention Center in Tel Aviv on April 23.
The Independence Day party, titled Music Box, will begin at 2 pm. It is being organized by the Cat & Dog Group led by Ronen Maili and Club Seat. Israeli musical group Balkan Beat Box will also perform during sunset.
