The group has charted 10 titles on Top Dance/Electronic Albums, with its prior best rank a No. 4 peak for Group Therapy in June 2011. The new release also marks Above & Beyond’s best ranking on the Billboard 200, opening at No. 34. The group is set to embark on a U.S. tour in February following the conclusion of a European stint.
Also achieving his best career sales week and highest Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart position is Hardwell, with United We Are (No. 2, 5,000 sold). It’s the third top 10 for the Dutch DJ, who previously sold no more than 2,000 albums in a single week.
MOVING ‘UPTOWN’: A week after topping Dance Club Songs for the first time,Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars rule Dance/Mix Show Airplay with “Uptown Funk!” (2-1), likewise marking each artist’s first No. 1 on the latter list. Previously, Ronson peaked as high as No. 4 on Dance/Mix Show Airplay in 2007 with “Stop Me,” featuring Daniel Merriweather. Mars had risen as high as No. 7 with “Just the Way You Are” (his first of four top 10s) in 2010.
