This year’s International Music Summit in Ibiza will bring together the greatest minds in the scene for three days of “business, culture and education”.
Now in its 11th year, the summit throws the spotlight onto the complex challenges and emerging opportunities in today’s evolving scene. The mix of influential figures amongst the 70 speakers taking part includes deadmau5, Seth Troxler, Bedouin and Black Coffee, while some of the topics on the agenda include blockchain, drug testing, sexual harassment and mental health.
Casting its net wide, destinations like Morocco will fall under the spotlight during a look at emerging party destinations, while the Young Guns Network will showcase how young entrepreneurs are changing the music business landscape.
“It’s vital for IMS Ibiza to assemble the best and brightest minds in the industry to debate the issues that affect us most and to discuss routes to progress and succeed,” says IMS co-founder Pete Tong.
Running May 23 – 25 at the Hard Rock Hotel, the event culminates in the IMS Dalt Vila festival, which features back-to-back sets from the likes of Nastia against Dubfire and Jackmaster b2b Peggy Gou – while the event marks the official start of the Ibiza summer season.
